NSAC Beginner Archery Class

Learn safety and the fundamentals necessary for pursuing any level of interest in archery.  All equipment included. 

Cost is $75.  Space is limited to ensure the best experience! We meet indoors during fall/winter at Pulaski Park, 1419 West Blackhawk Street, East Gym, from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Upcoming three-session Beginner Classes:

November: Saturdays: 11/3, 11/10, 11/24

December: Saturdays: 12/1, 12/8, 12/22

January: Saturdays: 1/5, 1/19, 1/26

February: Saturdays: 2/9, 2/16, 2/23

NSAC Intermediate Archery Class

Refine your fundamentals and begin putting them together into your own "archery shot."  Introduction to intermediate techniques and to the development of mental aspect.  Practice applying your skill in games and scoring.  All equipment included, plus opportunities to try different types of bows or to use your own.

Cost for this one-hour class is $90.  Space is limited given class content. We meet indoors during fall/winter at Pulaski Park, 1419 West Blackhawk Street, East Gym, from 2:00-3:00 p.m.

USA Archery Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD)

Our USA Archery Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) program represents an opportunity for youth archers to take their archery to the next level!  Through weeknight/weekend practices, monthly pin shoots and other competitions, from local to national, our archers learn how to set goals and what it takes to achieve them.  We welcome all Recurve, Barebow and Compound archers of any ability into our program.

Prerequisites: membership in USA Archery and a member of NSAC to participate.

Costs: Thursday night (6:00-7:30 p.m.) practices at Gill Park (825 West Sheridan, 3rd Floor): $10.  Weekend morning (10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.) practices at Pulaski Park: $10. Monthly pin shoots at Pulaski Park: $20.  There is no fee for equipment rental for JOAD archers at practices or NSAC events.

NSAC Free Try Archery Sessions

Join us for a free one-hour Try Archery sessions. Learn the basics of archery in a fun environment that'll be sure to spark your Olympic dream.  All equipment is included.

The Fine Print

Refund Policy: Our refund policy is: full refund up to one week prior to class; 60% within one week of class; no refund on or after class day.  All refunds are less any processing fee.

Weather Policy: Variable weather conditions is a feature, not a bug, of outdoor archery! However, when the weather does not cooperate (heavy rain; thunderstorms; sustained winds, etc.), the class will be rescheduled.  Your safety is our priority.

Missed Class Policy: If you need to miss a class due to a prior personal obligation or emergency, then rest assured that we will make every effort to reschedule your missed time.
