Club Locations

North Side Archery Club calls multiple ranges throughout the city home! Please find further information on our Membership page about using our ranges and proper etiquette.

Join us indoors or outdoors for a great archery experience! At any of our ranges please do not offer unsolicited advice. Everyone comes to the archery range to have a good time: if someone wants advice they will ask for it.

There are twenty 18M bale lanes and moveable bales for mid-distances - please ask for these! Safety first: only shoot at a distance commensurate with your ability. If your compound bow is over 60lb, please use one of our bag targets. A variety of 3D targets are available!

There is both free and metered street parking in front of the range and close by. Metered parking on Halsted is free on Sundays.

Lincoln Park Archery Range (Outdoor)

2 West Belmont Harbor Drive, Chicago, IL 60657

This dedicated outdoor archery range can be used sunrise-sunset year-round. Members can obtain keys to the shed for access to club bales and bags. Please pre-arrange with club leadership via email to meet up to get your key.

Proper spacing is essential to safety at the range. Please do not run separate shooting lines within a minimum of 3 striped bale lanes of another party. Always ask other shooters first before you attempt to run separate shooting lines.

No Broadheads and No Crossbows are permitted in the Park. Compound bows are permitted. If your compound bow draws over 60 lbs, please use one of the many club bag targets rather than a Whitetail round bale. No dogs are allowed within the fence boundary except for service animals.

Distances up to 90 meters are available but please shoot at a distance that is commensurate with your ability. No Sky Drawing. This ensure that arrows remain inside the range and overall operate safely.

Outdoor equipment borrowing for members will be available via online reservation platform from approximately June to the end of September.

If you are traveling from the south, exit Lake Shore Drive at RECREATION DRIVE and take a right at the stop sign. If you are traveling from the north, exit Lake Shore Drive at IRVING PARK ROAD, take a left and drive all the way through the parking lot towards the harbor. The archery range is across from the Harbormaster’s Office.

There is paid daily-rate parking next to the range which is owned by Chicago Park District, not NSAC. Cheaper hourly paid parking is available near the tennis courts and golf course farther north on Recreation Drive. Please do not block ramps near the archery range to maintain accessibility for those in wheelchairs.
